Hi, I'm Emilee!
I was born profoundly deaf in both ears and received a unilateral cochlear implant at 18 months old. I grew up using both American Sign Language and spoken English and continue to use both every day. My experience as a deaf person that lives in both the hearing and deaf worlds has guided my passion for helping families navigate the journey of raising a deaf child. I am a living example of how early intervention can set your child up for success, even if you might feel completely hopeless right now

For many of you who have a deaf child, your child is the first deaf person you have ever met, yet you are now responsible for their development.
